First-time viewing is a nail bitter! The realistic approach to how Space actually works adds a level of terror, uncertainty, and immersion unlike anything else! George Clooney was INCREDIBLE in this, made me wish he could have continued the journey with the lead. I think that scenario would have opened up more opportunities to get to know Dr. Stone. Visually this movie is gorgeous, perfectly blending terrifying scenery with sheer awe and beauty. While I did feel for Dr. Stone as she’s whisked from one catastrophe to another, she is unfortunately underdeveloped.
